The Everlasting Truth in Memoirs
Autobiographical novelists get sued left and right because of fraudulent information. In the end is not truth the same in any form? Does an upright idea become less potent when wrapped in fiction? Due to changing views in the modern publishing world memoirists and autobiographical authors are liable to legal repercussions if their information proves false. Although modern readers are pressing publishing companies to fact check their authors the inaccuracies in memoirs do not distract from the underlying meaning and should not discredit the underlying meaning within the text.
